Institute on Law of the Sea presents its First Annual Conference

The University of the Philippines (Diliman) - Institute For Maritime Affairs & Law of the Sea (IMLOS) holds its first annual conference with its theme " Institute on Law of The Sea - The Philippine Maritime Industry: Steering the course toward Global Competitiveness"

The event is slated on November 19-20 2013 at AMOSUP Conference Hall, Intramuros Manila,in partnership with Gregorio Oca Leadership and Development GOLD,Maritime Law Association and Seafarer Asia.

Maritime stakeholders, major government agency representatives, manning agency principals, seafarers, and press people are invited to attend.
IMLOS, was founded early this year by the experts in international law, legal research, foreign policy studies and international legal relations of the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law, and the UP Center.

A regular program is designed by the institute for mid-level career government officials and professionals from the academe to train them in the Law of the Sea and be familiarize with the complexities of maritime issues.
